I find myself in the unfortunate position of having to look for employment. I know, many of you have followed me here from my social media outlets and various blog sites.
This site has been here in reserve for quite a while but. I figured since I've been working at one place for over 3 years now and don't have a portfolio put together, I need to take this opportunity to use this space to talk about the eternal geek in me.
Unfortunately, not much of what I've been working on in the last 3 years is publicly available. That's possibly one of the down falls of working on proprietary software full time. If you can't show your work, you really can't use it to move ahead in your career path. That's especially the case when some of what you do is right down to server level and data manipulation.
So, while I'm on the job hunt, I'll try to update this page with some further information and some examples but, I mainly would like to keep this in sort of a blog format.
To my friends out there, if you know anyone looking for an HTML, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript developer who also knows how to install, configure and administer LAMP servers, send them my resume
